Yin Healing

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a gentle form of healing through touch, rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It restores the healthy flow of energy throughout the body.
Shiatsu literally means "finger push". A treatment includes palm / finger pressure and gentle stretches which help to tonify or release the energy within the meridians in order to encourage healing and and to maintain good health.

Shiatsu and Pregnancy

Receiving treatments throughout your pregnancy offers you time and space to connect deeper with yourself and your baby.
There are many conditions that Shiatsu can help with during pregancy such as backache, morning sickness, indigestion, constipation, anxiety and many more.

Shamanic Healing

Shamanic healing may also be called energetic healing and works from the premise that the energy body of a person is just as much a part of them as the physical body. In the energy body lies the residue of traumas, accidents, out of date attachments and other issues which have had a deep impact. The clues to unresolved issues are psychological/emotional states that are related to something other than the present. But, in contrast to psychotherapy and counseling it is not necessary for a person to talk about the past or even to know why they feel as they do. The shaman works with the manifestation of the presenting issue in the now, be that an anxiety, phobia, addiction, difficulty moving on from the past, inappropriate tie to a particular person or even a physical symptom that has no medical explanation. Sometimes there is just a general feeling of spiritual disconnection, a vague chronic depression, not feeling fully engaged with life, taking a very analytical ‘in the head’ approach. A shaman might consider these conditions to be soul loss. In western terms, the condition has likely arisen as a result of some form of trauma. But, what is not well recognized is the fact that trauma affects virtually everyone from time to time. While, there may be no identifiable big trauma, the shocks and scares that happen in the course of living do have an impact and some people are more sensitive to them than others. Also, long forgotten events from childhood, like feeling lost or scared or even a fall can leave an imprint of trauma in the energy field.

The process I use is very gentle. It includes energetic diagnosis and a simple breathing technique to access the unconscious mind which produces images that are like metaphor for the presenting issue. There is no reenactment of difficult or disturbing material. The practitioner journeys with the client, working with images, to retrieve energy that is stuck, to reclaim power and cut ties where necessary. It is an up to date presentation of ancient wisdom, incorporating the insights of the modern methodology of NLP, and is very effective. Healing reconnects a person to present time and to the Source. In other words, it is a recovery of empowerment.

People on a personal development journey may wish to undertake a series of sessions but many issues can be dealt with in one.
